- US H-1B$150,000–$185,000HybridFull-timeEngineering

Example listing. It shows how a GJWV role should be written. It is not a live opening, and an application is not sent to an employer.
Sponsorship
Kite Systems will file an H-1B petition for a specialty-occupation role. This posting is cap-subject. A lottery selection is not guaranteed, and the offer letter says what happens to the start date if the petition is not selected or not approved. Counsel is paid by the company.
Relocation. A relocation budget of USD 10,000, used for travel and the first month of housing.
The work
You will build the services that turn a staffing rule into a roster a nurse manager will actually follow. The stack is Go and Postgres. The office is in East Austin, three days a week. The company is direct about the H-1B cap because a vague promise wastes a year of someone’s life.
Responsibilities
- Design APIs the roster product depends on.
- Keep the data model honest when a hospital’s rules contradict each other.
- Review code with an eye on failure, not style.
- Write the short design note before the long build.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, as the H-1B petition requires.
- Four years building backend systems.
- Go, or a language you can leave behind within a month for Go.
- English.
